If you’re coming here from Intervention, welcome! We are currently nearing the end of chapter 10. I suggest you start from the beginning to better understand where the story is going. 🙂 I had a blast at Intervention, by the way. Not only did I hang out with my friends Tamuran, Snow by Night, Hainted Holler, Technoangel Studios, Jessi Bavolack, and Elane Corvidae, but I also met some cool new people like Liz Staley and her husband, Tangent Artists, and The Webcomic Beacon. I also hung out with Pete Abrams, who is a really really nice guy and his booth mate, who had the most awesome Dr. Chakwas cosplay that I didn’t get pictures of because the battery on my camera is dead and I can’t find the recharger. Both panels went well, especially the Elevator Pitch and I’m hoping we can do that as a workshop next year. The Elevator pitch is so crucial for creative people. All in all, it was a really fun time and I am now going to catch up on some much needed sleep.
In other personal news, I’m having minor surgery done tomorrow to remove a lump found in my throat. It shouldn’t be major and my recovery time should only be a few days so I’m hoping to be back working Monday. This won’t impact the regular updates of the comic, but I might not remember to post the update notices on twitter, tumblr, google plus, or facebook.
I know that I’m way behind on this, since I’m working my way through the archives, but I do hope your surgery went well.
