And hello to anyone who’s coming here from Balticon! We’re in the middle of Chapter 13; you can start from the beginning at the top of the page. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve been looking for an app to make LaSalle’s Legacy a more enjoyable experience on tablets and phones, since I don’t have the time or talent to make one myself. Comic Chameleon seems like a good place, but I’m going to need your help. If you’d like to see LaSalle’s Legacy on this app, or even if you just want to help me out and get more readers, please click here and let them know you’d like to see my comic on their app. The more people do this, the better chance I have of actually making it on. Thanks for all your help!

I’m back from vacation! I had a great time, especially since I went white water rafting for the first time. My husband and I did a tour in West Virginia on the New River. Since there had been a lot of storms in the area for the past few days the water level was really high, making the rapids pretty turbulent. Going over them was scary and exciting at the same time; I remember nearly getting tossed out of the raft a couple of times on the bigger rapids, and trying desperately to remember where I needed to swim to if I did get tossed out. Luckily, I stayed in the raft. We were with a big group of people, so there were about 8 people on the raft plus a guide. Our guide was pretty informative as well as entertaining; we were regaled with stories of the mining towns that have since disappeared along the edges of the river, and how criminals used to hide out in the area. It was also the first time I’ve been camping on a trip in a long time. I remember backpacking across Ireland with a friend of mine; we’d pull off the side of the road into a campsite, put up a tent, and there was our bed for that night. While I enjoy camping, I can only do it for a little while. After that, I miss indoor plumbing.
