Panel 5 was the most fun for me to draw on this one.

This year I’m participating in the Comic Creators for Freedom fundraiser. Every year a bunch of webcomic artists get together to raise funds for Love146, a charitable organization working to stop child trafficking and prostitution. The fundraiser starts next month and for your donation, you will get a large computer wallpaper with characters from over 90 webcomics, LaSalle’s Legacy included. This year’s theme was Awkward School Portraits, so I decided to paint Yvette. I’ll post more information when the time comes, but for now, here’s a preview of my contribution!

This week’s SpiderForest comic of the week is Snow by Night, by Eric Menge and Brittany Michel.

What looked like a normal work night of thieving for Blaise and Jassart turned out to be anything but as they met a snow spirit named Snow by Night. Snow by Night is searching for her heart and while Blaise is willing to help, Jassart not so much. How far are they willing to go to get what they want?

Set in a colonial French town, Snow by Night has some beautiful artwork and fantastic worldbuilding as well as a great fairy tale of a story. I’m pretty sure anyone who’s reading me is reading them already, but if you aren’t, I highly recommend it.
