I’m back all rested from vacation, both in Japan and at home for the holidays. Japan was wonderful, even though my poor wallet is now empty since I bought so much stuff. If I’d had more room in my suitcase, I would have brought home more manga. Just walking through the bookstores and seeing all the beautiful art on the comics was inspiring. No wonder the manga industry is so huge; I wanted to go home and draw and paint just from looking at all the covers.

I also spent the rest of my holiday finishing Epic Mickey. I am a Disney fanatic and was really looking forward to this game when I heard about it. It did not disappoint. I love the paint/thinner gameplay, and the story is touching and cute. Plus, they included a couple of old cartoons that I’d never seen before. If you love Disney, you’ll love this one.
Very intriguing panel…Jared a few moments ago tried too whack Capt. La Salle and now he just wants to talk to him…If this is Jared’s way of inviting a person to have a private conversation with him, I sure hate to get invited by him to have dinner with in the future. The story is getting more and more interesting.
