Did I mention that I love Sam? Because I do.

Quick heads up: I will be on vacation for two weeks starting next week. LaSalle’s Legacy will continue to update in my absence, but I won’t be answering e-mails or doing facebook or twitter/tumblr updates until I return. TopWebcomics seems to be having problems lately, but I’m hoping to have previews of upcoming pages as a vote incentive every Tuesday and Thursday (lookit me, being all organized). Please vote every day if you can. 🙂 And thank you to everyone who has been.

In personal news, those of you who follow me on DeviantArt know that I’m a huge DragonAge fan. BioWare had a fanart showcase contest where they would showcase fanart from fans at San Diego Comic Con. I entered about five pieces just for fun and learned that not one, not two, but THREE pieces of mine were chosen. You can watch the video here: at BioWare TV to see the showcase. And I’m going to link the pieces that I entered so you can kind of see, though I think they breezed past most of mine on the TV. 🙂 Piece one around the 2:00 mark, Piece Two at about the 3:00 minute mark, and piece three at about the 5:32 mark. Needless to say I was honored to be chosen, and I didn’t win, but those who did really deserved it. 🙂

The countdown to Otakon begins! I’ll be in Artists Alley with Megami Jadeheart of Annie and Kat.Snow by Night and Nilah Magruder, one of the artists of Cybergen 2027 will also be there. If you’re going, please stop by and say ‘hi’! I’ll have some prints, buttons, and of course the first issue of LaSalle’s Legacy with me. 🙂 My group will be in space N 07 as shown on this map. Hopefully we’ll get lots of traffic. If you can’t make it, wish me luck! 😀

After that: I will be in the Artists Alley of Baltimore Comic-Con along with Chezhnian and Eren of Tamuran. We’ll be under the name “Zyrenski Studios”, but I don’t know exactly where our booth will be. I think after that I’ll probably know the Baltimore Convention center like the back of my hand.
