Maria’s quote about not being some prize to be won is a bit of a nod to Leetah’s speech to Rayek in Elfquest. Wendy Pini has always been a huge inspiration of mine and I think I unconsciously thought of that scene when I wrote this one.
Starting next week I’ll be on my yearly two week vacation. But there’s a new player in the game: Rease Nalive, a girl whose dreams are just a little more real than all the rest. Her dreams are murder.
