Do you, by any chance, read Teahouse? I notice that Yvette’s full name is an amalgamation of two of the characters’ names from that webcomic: Rory Dubois and Yvette Atros. 🙂
I do read Teahouse, but just got into it recently. I made Yvette’s name long before I discovered that webcomic, but it is amusing that I managed to get that combination (and Yvette is one of my favorite characters in that webcomic as well). 😀 Yvette’s name is actually based on a character from the adventure game Daggers of Amon Ra. The character’s name was Yvette Delacroix, and since I didn’t want to use that last name, looked up French last names that started with ‘D’ and settled on Dubois.
Nice to see someone gracious about her rescue instead of the usual arrogant “I can take care of myself!” trope.
Either Jonny is REALLY short, or Yvette is awfully tall for a half starved street girl.
Jon is short, but Yvette is a bit older than she might appear. All will be revealed later. ^__^
