Silver Throated Grackle; Page 4
And now we actually meet Madeline. This is one of the few characters I draw with glasses, since I always think glasses are hard to draw. I don’t know why because I own a pair myself.
This weekend was pretty uneventful for me. The weather was beautiful so I planted my daffodil bulbs. Last year, my daffodil bulbs froze and didn’t bloom in the spring. I’m hoping this year I’ll get to see them.
And I’ve made it in the 100s for TWC! *dances* Thank you everyone for voting and placing me this far up! Maybe I can even crack that 100 ceiling one day. 😀
Hmmm..It seems Rijik Van Heissler who has many a fault in his character is right about one thing though…Madam Madeline does look like a hag..But a smart and dangerous one at that as can be seen on panel 4.
P.S. How do you draw a Hag who is both smart and dangerous all at the same time?!? It is as if Ms. Smith you have personally met one in real life is the only explanation I can come up with that makes sense. The more I look at Madam Madeline’s character, I remember an old Italian nun from Catholic School who would scold me for being naughty with words like “That is not the proper behavior of a young gentleman, Master Jago. The Mother Superior will hear about this..Now, go to the corner and say ten Hail Mary’s before you go home…” Ah memories…those were very interesting times…At least I did not end up like Bart Simpson writing repentant messages on the black board!
