It’s a sibling showdown! *dun dun duuuuun*!!!

I’ve been looking for an app to make LaSalle’s Legacy a more enjoyable experience on tablets and phones, since I don’t have the time or talent to make one myself. Comic Chameleon seems like a good place, but I’m going to need your help. If you’d like to see LaSalle’s Legacy on this app, or even if you just want to help me out and get more readers, please click here and let them know you’d like to see my comic on their app. The more people do this, the better chance I have of actually making it on. Thanks for all your help!

I saw Star Trek: Into Darkness for my birthday a couple of weeks back. I have to say, I’m one of the few people who didn’t really enjoy it all that much. I’ve been trying to figure out why, and I think part of it is that I did not enjoy paying to see a movie I’ve already seen. The first bit was pretty good, but the last bit, particularly the ending, felt like the writers ran out of ideas and just redid Star Trek 2, but with a twist! And that didn’t impress me at all. Plus, I wasn’t too happy with the action scenes; they felt long, and that last fight had me getting bored, particularly since the two combatants kept recycling the same moves.

Good things about the movie were the acting (particularly Benedict Cumberbach who did a brilliant job, though I still like Ricardo Montalb├ín better), and Uhura’s broader role in the series. I wish Sulu and Checkov had more things to do as well, but hopefully in the next movie.

Wow I feel old and crotchety.
