She’s convinced Yvette. Now can she convince her captain?
In LaSalle’s Legacy related news; my buffer is slowly getting eaten away and life is currently making it difficult for me to build it back up. So, I’m looking for some fanart for the end of this chapter for a couple of weeks. That should give me enough time to build my buffer back up and continue the story. If you’d like to contribute, email me with your submissions at captain at lasalleslegacy dot com along with your name and any website you’d like me to link to you. 🙂
In personal news, my grandmother died on Thursday morning. She was in her late eighties, and while it wasn’t unexpected, it was still a surprise. She was a wonderful woman, full of love and kindness, and I miss her a lot.
Yvette is adorable!
I’m so sorry for your loss. Expecting it doesn’t make it any easier. 🙁 *hugs*
Maria (being the romantic that she is) is probably enamored by Jonathan’s uniform (and of course being Captain of ship does help!)—why does the guys who wear the good uniforms always manages to get the gal!
On a personal note: Condolences for the passing away of your grandmother last Thursday. I loss my grandma several years ago-she was 99 years, 11 months and 3 weeks from her 100th birthday. She was a very tough gal, who gave birth to eleven children (9 boys and 2 girls) all at home. Worked hard in the farm and raise hell when she feels like it. She was a fine old lady who even in her old age betted on the horses and boxing matches! She scolded her children and spoiled us (her grandchildren). What a character grandma Dolores was…what a character. All grandmothers in my opinion is a character one way or another, that is why we love them so! My grandma (and probably yours too) is likely enjoying betting on the horses and boxing matches in Heaven right about now. She’s is probably putting on Manny Pacquiao and Marquez. Good old grandma!
Women love a man in a uniform! XD
And thank you for your kind words and your story about your grandmother! She sounded like a very interesting person. My grandmother didn’t bet on the horses, but I’m sure she’s enjoying herself in heaven with that bottle of vodka my aunt put in her coffin. 🙂
Yvette is very good with the puppy eyes. Too bad she’s not aware of it. XD
and thank you. *hugs*
