Now we get to see the bird for which this chapter is named. It’s based off of the Greater Antillian Grackle.

It is a hallmark of adulthood, or perhaps responsibility, when you set aside a day to play video games and spend half that day doing chores. Part of those chores involved things like NaNoWriMo and exercising, but still, dishes were done, laundry was put away, and various meals were made. I did get a chance to play at least 15 hours of Skyrim this weekend and am enjoying every single minute of it. I love how Bethesda has done away with number-crunching level ups and is just allowing you to play and experience the game. Although I do like dialogue choices much better in DragonAge, as I feel you can better shape your character through dialogue in those games, I’m enjoying wandering the countryside of Skyrim, picking flowers and helping people (or helping myself to their gold). I’ve done at least some of the main quest and it looks interesting, but currently I’m doing one of the many many side quests Skyrim has to offer. And blacksmithing. Who knew blacksmithing could be so much fun?
