Son of a Clannaughtsman, Part One, Page 16
I really like Sam. He’s one of those characters that is just so easy to write. 🙂 And I love drawing his facial hair as well.
As a reminder, I will be at Balticon Memorial Day weekend. I will also be heading a panel on how to create a graphic novel webcomic, which I believe is scheduled on Friday evening. If you happen to be there on Friday, please come! Other contributors are Elaine Corvidae, who does Riven Sol and Eric Menge and Brittany Michel of Snow by Night. It will be fun and informative! If you can’t make it to the panel, but will be at Balticon anyway, I’ll be selling the very first graphic novel copies of LaSalle’s Legacy. 😀 Please stop by!
Lettering error – you’re missing “of” in the last word bubble.
I like the format (not the word I want but I can’t think of the right one) of this page, especially the 3/4 profile of her on the bottom.
I agree with Itesa. The panelling for this page is very well done. The only change I could see is in Panel 3. If you have Alice on the left side and Sam on the left, then you can avoid having the balloon tales looping over or around characters. The 3/4 profile of Alice is especially nice on top of her memory panel. It immediately lets the reader know who is remembering. Nice work.
