It’s an update! Yaaaaaay! Also, this week and next week only, there will be one extra update on Friday. This way, we’ll be able to catch up in time. 🙂
Seriously, last week, Irene came and hit my area. While the damage wasn’t too bad, it was enough to knock my power out for a week. Normally, my power company is very good at getting the power back on, so I thought I would be able to update on time last week, but it turns out I was too optimistic. Next time, I will make sure I’ve got updates up before the hurricane hits, just in case; though I’m really hoping it won’t happen again anytime soon. If my power does go out and the updates aren’t on time, please join either the facebook page or my twitter feed, as I can post there from my phone.
In the meantime, my husband and I weathered the hurricane okay. Since we go camping a lot, we were prepared with lots of LED lights and camping food. It was almost like camping, except I didn’t have to go outside to use the restroom.
And in convention news, it’s almost time for Intervention. I’ll be in the Artists Alley, along with lots of wonderful people like Eric and Brittney of Snow by Night, Megami Jadeheart of Annie, Elaine Corvidae of Riven Sol, Eren and Chezhnian of Tamuran and many many more! I’ll have books on sale as well as a variety of other stuff I have left over from con days. Stop by if you’re going, and if not, wish me luck!
