Charles Dickens is one of my favorite authors and I love The Christmas Carol. In fact, Ebeneezer Scrooge was the inspiration for Figglesby (and Bob Cratchett the inspiration for Thomas). This is also the first time I’ve done a watercolor painting in a couple of years now, and it was a pleasant surprise to discover that I haven’t lost all my painting skill.
