Next week is Christmas! Because Christmas day falls on a Tuesday this year, you will have a special Christmas-themed update on Tuesday. We’ll return to the regular storyline on Thursday. I’m also going take my usual vacation break from social media and not post update reminders on Tuesday. I’ll be back to the regular schedule on Thursday.

In personal news, this past Saturday I performed with a bellydance group for the very first time. While I usually perform with my medieval dance troupe, this was a little different as I was actually onstage with lights and an audience in a theatrical setting. I was extremely nervous backstage; I swear the ten minutes before I went out on stage was the longest ten minutes of my life. When I actually performed, I remember not thinking of anything, including the choreography, and letting my body go on auto-pilot. It was a huge success, and we all did beautifully. I hope I can perform again one day.
