I just finished Thirteenth Child by Patricia C Wrede. Wrede is one of my favorite authors so it was a delight to read her new series; I got hooked on her Lyra series way back when. This one was pretty good; I enjoyed the different magic systems and the interesting way it looked at the Wild West in an alternate universe. I recommend it, particularly if you loved the Little House on the Prairie books as a child. Ah, Laura Ingalls Wilder was one of my favorites as a little girl. 😀
