The second page of my experiment. And is a big blog post today!
Welcome everybody who’s come here from Otakon! We’re nearing the end of Chapter 13, so if you want to start at the beginning, head up to the button on the left. I hope you enjoy your stay!
also have a big list of thank-yous to say before I say anything else. First, thank you to all those who stopped by my table and picked up a book, business card, or commissioned me. I hope you enjoy the webcomic and your support means everything to me.
A second big thank you goes to my husband for keeping me fed, hydrated, hauling my stuff, and dealing with Baltimore traffic for me. 🙂 And thank you to Megami Jadeheart, Eren and Kennedy (Tamuran), Sakky (http://senshistock.deviantart.com/), Andrew and Laura (Technoangel Studios), Eric and Brittany (Snow by Night), Whitney Delagio (Prism the Miracle), Monica and Rachel (Tangent Artists), and Jessi Pascal (Geeks Next Door) for being awesome people and keeping me entertained and sane during the long Artist Alley hours.
I also got to meet Lora Innes (The Dreamer) and Julie Wright (Ianuae), both of whom are super nice and talented people. Got a chance to chat with Mookie and Gareth (Star Power) and Danny Valentino (Draconia Chronicles) as well as meet the writer for Amya. All of these are fabulous comics and you should check them out if you get a chance.
Whew that’s a lot of people. While I did see a lot of awesome cosplay this year, particularly of Attack on Titan and Free! Which are my two current favorite anime, I didn’t get a chance to take a lot of pictures. This is the first year I had so many commissions, I was thinking of closing shop because I was getting unable to handle the workload, which was very nice. I got a chance to walk around the AA a bit on Sunday, the day I didn’t take commissions, and was overwhelmed by the amount of talent in the room. Artist Alley people are super creative and awesome and I hope all of you support your favorite creators like you support me!
Speaking of support, I’ll have Book 3 PDFs and physical copies in the store this week. If you enjoy the comic, purchasing a book would help me greatly. You can also help by getting the word out; telling your friends or people on social media about LaSalle’s Legacy. Those of you who do every week, with all your retweets, reblogs, and likes, thank you so much! I appreciate everything.
I’ll also be at Intervention in… good grief, two weeks! D: I’ll be in the Intervention Artist Alley, as I usually am. Please stop by and say ‘hi’ if you’re going! 😀
SpiderForest, the collective I belong to, has opened up for applications! If you have a webcomic and think you’d be a good fit to our community, please apply here. We’ve got a LOT of good webcomics and all the people are super nice and friendly. 😀
