It’s Mark! What’ll happen now? dun dun dun!
Did everyone in the States have a good Thanksgiving? I did, for the most part, except early in the morning, at 1 AM, I had to take my dad to the emergency room because he thought he was having some heart trouble. Thankfully it was nothing serious but it took them about 6 hours to monitor him to make sure he was okay. My husband and I were able to go back home to sleep for a bit before picking him back up and he was able to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with us, so all was well that ended well, even though it was a little scary for a bit. He’s doing much better now, though I did beat him at games all Thanksgiving day so maybe his ego is a bit bruised. I spent the rest of the weekend exploring the Hinterlands in Dragon Age Inquisition and finally managed to do some of the real story, in which I had to make a very tough decision. These Bioware games are murder on your feelings.
Since last week was Thanksgiving, we’re doing a repeat of the spiderforest comic of the week. This week’s Spiderforest Comic of the Week is Soul to Call by Rommie.
In a post-apocolyptic world, demon summoning and zombies are now the new normal in a world gone mad. Avril, a streetwise carrier, is seeking an entity called the Anathema, which is said to have the abilities she needs. But to get clues on how to summon such a creature, she has to travel far and wide and battle some pretty nasty demons along the way. Spooky, and hauntingly gorgeous with plenty of great action, Soul to Call is a great read if you love comics about the undead. And since you’re reading mine, you probably do, right?
