Happy July 4th to all my American viewers! 
I’ll celebrate by watching fireworks on TV and eating hot dogs. And possibly clear the next dungeon in Twilight Princess.
This page was originally composed of 3 panels, but when I looked at it earlier this week, I hated panel 3. I was trying something new and it really didn’t work. I was going to just leave it, since I was on a time crunch and couldn’t think of something better, but looking at it earlier just made me cringe so I changed it last minute. While I know you readers are going to be with me on my artistic journey, and the only way to get good at stuff is to suck a it for a really long time, sometimes, I really just can’t put up the bad crap. I think this page works better now anyway.
I’m a “artistic journey” artist versus a “everything must be perfect before I post it” artist myself, and I think revising stuff that honestly isn’t working is just fine. A lot of times when I finish a page’s inks, I’ll look at the whole thing, find the weakest panel and redraw it.* I think that’s saved my readers a lot of misery. And it’s not like not showing it to your readers negates the practice you put into making it. So maybe in a different place and time, you can try it again and it’ll work out better.
*You can actually see the old version of one of my panels in today’s Sombulus page before I redrew it. Thought about editing it out, but decided that no one would probably notice.
I wish I could be ‘artistic journey’, but my perfectionism tends to win out at times. I’m getting better as I get older… I think. XD
