IN other news, I am now taking pre-order reservations for book 3!
Each book is 136 pages and is the compilation of chapters 9-12. It also includes “First Impressions”, a 10 page short comic about how Jonathan and Thomas met, as well as some information on the X’antu tribe and development sketches. Each copy reserved will have an inked sketch of the character of your choice; just let me know in the e-mail which character you prefer. I hope everyone had a very relaxing 4th of July holiday and weekend if you took a long weekend. I stayed home and watched “Frankenweenie” with my husband. I’m not a horror movie fan because I get nightmares easily (I had nightmares after watching The Sixth Sense) so I didn’t get half of the references in this movie. I’m also not a huge Tim Burton fan either, so I guess it isn’t that surprising I wasn’t that impressed with this movie. Part of it was they seemed to sacrifice storytelling for horror movie in-jokes, which made this movie about as good as a lot of the B-movies that it was parodying. The animation and art direction were impressive, and I enjoyed some of the weird things in it, but overall it was okay. Good thing I didn’t see it in the theaters.
